Finished: Scrap Arrows from Fabric Engineer

It took several years, but I finally finished the scrap arrows quilt!

It's based off an piece of art in the guest bathroom at my brother's house.  I couldn't make it quite the same because otherwise it would have been too big, but they're obviously related.

I got the blocks from the Scrap Bee in during 2017.

So while I was taking the initial photo shoot for this quilt I noticed an obvious stain on the white.  It didn't wash out.  So I ended up unpicking the quilting, unpicking the piecing from that area, and ...

Update Feb 2022 from Fabric Engineer

Here's what I've been working on lately!

1. Begonia. I've had a few baby quilts that have taken precedence, but it's currently the one I'm working on.

2. Stash Bee 2022.  I need some dark green for setting corners.  I'll pick that up tomorrow and then continue finishing this one, as the baby is due in March.

Update Oct '21 from Fabric Engineer

Well, it's been a very while since I've done a progress update, again.  But the kids are back in school now and I have a bit more time.  I know these aren't super exciting, but they help a ton in keeping me organized.

1. Blue facets.  This just needs a few more threads tied and the binding put on.  It is creating a lot of little fluffies right now since it was cut to size, so I didn't open it up for the picture.

2. Harry Potter-esque.  This has been a bit more fun to piece ...

Progress list from Fabric Engineer

Well, it's been a while since I've done a progress update.  There are a few quilts that managed to get started and finished without getting on the list, but oh well.  Progress has slowed down a bit lately, but things are still moving.

1. Minecraft floors.  I finally started this one after having it on my list for quite a while.  It's now over half way done with the quilting.  I just ran out of thread.  Like with #2 on the list, I don't know where I got the large spool of thread.  I think it ...

Q1 - 2020 from Fabric Engineer

Last quarter was surprisingly productive!  I'm not really sure what the difference was from previous quarters, but I'll take it!  I dropped my number of WIPs from 16 to 14 and even made progress on eight of those!

So the QAL has moved solely to instagram. It's probably a good move on their part, but I tried Instagram and honestly, didn't love it.  I think there are several reasons for that, which I'm not going to go into here.  So I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do...I could go back ...
